Security Forces Neutralize Ten Terrorists in North Waziristan Operations


Islamabad, In a decisive crackdown against militancy, Pakistani security forces have successfully neutralized ten terrorists and injured three others in a series of operations within North Waziristan District. These engagements underline Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to eradicating terrorism and securing its border regions.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, an intelligence-based operation on Friday in North Waziristan resulted in the elimination of four terrorists. A subsequent sanitization operation in the same area led to four additional terrorists being neutralized by the security forces, showcasing their operational effectiveness and resolve.



In a distinct yet related operation in North Waziristan, security personnel intercepted five terrorists attempting to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. The ensuing exchange of fire resulted in the deaths of two terrorists, identified as Hazrat Umer and Rehman Niaz, while three others sustained injuries.



These actions by the Pakistani security forces are part of a broader strategy to dismantle terrorist networks and prevent their infiltration across the border. By maintaining a vigilant and robust defense posture, the forces aim to ensure the security of Pakistan’s territorial integrity and the safety of its citizens against the backdrop of regional security challenges.
