Islamabad, Chinese President Xi Jinping has extended his congratulations to Asif Ali Zardari on his recent election as the President of Pakistan, highlighting the enduring partnership between the two nations.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Xi emphasized the close ties between China and Pakistan, describing them as “good neighbors, good friends, good partners, and good brothers.” He acknowledged the significant accomplishments in the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the sustained high level of bilateral relations. The message also conveyed China’s readiness to collaborate with President Zardari in nurturing the traditional friendship and furthering mutual interests between the two countries, reinforcing the diplomatic bond and shared objectives in regional and international contexts.
