Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz Boost Digital Services for Citizens

Lahore: Under the leadership of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz are actively delivering digital services to the public across the province.

According to a statement by Punjab Police, more than 156,000 citizens accessed services from these centers within the first 13 days of this year. A spokesperson revealed that 83,000 individuals underwent general police verification, while over 36,000 received police character certificates. Additionally, more than 18,000 citizens registered tenancy agreements.

Furthermore, the centers issued medical-legal certificates to over 4,000 people and extended legal and social protection to more than 4,700 individuals from vulnerable groups. The spokesperson also noted that over 1,500 citizens utilized vehicle verification services, 3,100 registered missing documents, and 175 filed crime reports. Copies of FIRs were distributed to more than 4,600 citizens, and three cases of violence against women were reported.

Additional services included the registration of 567 employees through the ROPE system and verification of 27 private employees with the police.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar remarked that these Khidmat Marakaz are a flagship project for public service delivery, operating around the clock. Citizens from Lahore and various parts of the province benefit from these services, which are being continuously upgraded based on public feedback.
