ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police has announced a series of special events to commemorate the first anniversary of “Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq- Buny?n al-Marsoos,” a significant operation in Pakistan’s history. The three-day celebration, culminating in a main ceremony at the Pakistan Monument on May 10, is organized under the directives of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and Chief Traffic Officer Muhammad Sarfraz Work.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the anniversary celebration aims to honor the unity and bravery demonstrated during “Operation Haq – Buny?n al-Marsoos.” An interactive public session is planned as part of the events, with participation from various community members. A social media campaign has preceded the public events, officially launching the commemorations.
CTO Islamabad has emphasized the importance of the operation in demonstrating national unity with the armed forces. Citizens are encouraged to display national symbols and participate enthusiastically in the planned events, while adhering to traffic regulations. The Islamabad Traffic Police will ensure smooth traffic flow during the celebrations.
The events will be attended by members of civil society, media, and senior officials, including high-ranking authorities and the district administration, which has made special arrangements for the occasion. Muhammad Sarfraz Work highlighted the global significance of Pakistan’s unity and urged citizens to showcase their patriotism by actively engaging in the celebrations.
