Lahore, Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs and Inter-faith Harmony, Aneeq Ahmed, emphasized the importance of respecting all religions to foster unity and harmony in society. Speaking at a conference on Inter-faith Harmony in Lahore, he highlighted that Islamic teachings advocate respect for every religion.
According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ahmed also underscored the government’s commitment to promoting interfaith harmony and protecting the rights of minorities in Pakistan. Abdul Khabeer Azad, Chairman of Ruete Hilal Committee, also addressed the conference, reinforcing the Islamic perspective on tolerance and interfaith cooperation.
