Yousaf Pledges to Foster Religious Tolerance and Interfaith Harmony in Pakistan


ISLAMABAD: Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to enhancing cooperation with the United Nations’ Alliance of Civilizations in a bid to advance religious tolerance and interfaith harmony. During a meeting with United Nations Special Envoy to Combat Islamophobia, Miguel Ángel Moratinos, Yousaf expressed the nation’s commitment to these efforts.



According to Radio Pakistan, the UN Special Envoy lauded Pakistan’s initiatives in promoting interfaith harmony and protecting minority rights. He characterized the government’s efforts as valuable and exemplary, highlighting the importance of such measures in fostering a more inclusive society.
