Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Acknowledges Global Leaders’ Congratulatory Messages


Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has publicly thanked various world leaders for their congratulatory messages on his recent re-election, highlighting Pakistan’s intent to strengthen international relationships and enhance collaboration across different platforms.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in a series of communications shared on X (formerly Twitter), Prime Minister Sharif acknowledged the felicitations from leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasizing his anticipation of deepened Pakistan-Russia relations. He conveyed similar sentiments towards Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Zhaparov, underscoring the potential for enriched bilateral and multilateral cooperation within frameworks like the Economic Cooperation Organization and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.



In addition, the Prime Minister reciprocated the warm wishes from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, reaffirming Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian cause. He also extended his appreciation to Tajikistan’s President Emomali Rahmon, recognizing the enduring friendship between their nations and expressing eagerness to fortify their bilateral ties.



The array of acknowledgments extended to the leaders of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan, demonstrating Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining and expanding its diplomatic network. These exchanges not only symbolize mutual respect and camaraderie among nations but also signify Pakistan’s proactive approach to engaging with the international community during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s tenure.
