Islamabad, November 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):Defence Minister Khawaja Asif says summary regarding army chief’s appointment has been received by the Prime Minister’s House. In a tweet, he said the process of appointment of new army chief will be completed in a couple of days.
Meanwhile, in a tweet, Director General ISPR has also confirmed that summary regarding appointment of the Chief of Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the Chief of Army Staff has been sent from General Headquarters to Ministry of Defence. He said the summary includes names of six most senior Lieutenant Generals.
