Islamabad, October 28, 2022 (PPI-OT): A review meeting on rehabilitation of flood victims chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was held in Islamabad on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the authorities concerned to use all available resources on an emergency basis for the rehabilitation of the flood victims.
Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal briefed the Prime Minister about Post Disaster Need Assessment report for sustainable rehabilitation of the flood victims. The report has been prepared with the coordination of United Nations, Asian Development Bank and other international partners. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman and National Coordinator of National Flood Response Coordination Centre Lieutenant General Muhammad Zafar Iqbal were also present in the meeting.
