Karachi, President Dr. Arif Alvi visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi to pay his respects to the Father of the Nation. The visit was part of a tribute to the leader who played a pivotal role in the creation of Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Alvi was accompanied by Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori and caretaker Chief Minister Maqbool Baqer. During his visit, the President laid floral wreaths at the mausoleum and offered fateha, a traditional Islamic prayer of blessing. He also took the opportunity to record his impressions and thoughts in the visitors’ book at the site.
