Foreign Office Confirms No Ongoing Ceasefire with Afghan Taliban

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office has confirmed that there is no ongoing temporary ceasefire in place with the Afghan Taliban. This announcement comes amidst ongoing tensions and sporadic violence in the region.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson, Tahir Andrabi, issued a statement clarifying that a previous pause in hostilities was limited to a three-day period during Eid. Andrabi emphasized that this was a temporary measure and that no current ceasefire agreement exists.
