PML-N Leaders Discuss Development Projects in South Punjab


Lahore: Provincial Assembly members from Muzaffargarh convened with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to discuss the country’s political situation and ongoing development initiatives in South Punjab. The meeting underscored the significance of projects like the Electrobus and Clean Water in Muzaffargarh.



According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the assembly members commended the leaders for initiating a record number of development projects in the region. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized the PML-N’s commitment to tangible public advancements and addressing the needs of South Punjab’s residents. She highlighted her direct involvement in last year’s flood relief operations in the area.



The assembly members praised the chief minister for prioritizing mega projects in South Punjab, noting the positive impact of initiatives such as the Electrobus service on various routes, including Fazal Mill-Khanpur Baga Sher and Railway Phatak-Mahmood Mills. They also acknowledged the improvements brought by the Chief Minister’s Local Roads Programme, which has enhanced connectivity and benefited many residents in Muzaffargarh.
