Paris, The Embassy of Pakistan in Paris, led by Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad and his spouse Madam Asma Ahmad, recently hosted the ‘Bienvenue en France’ association’s end-of-academic-year event. The gathering celebrated the completion of French language classes attended by diplomats from various countries, enhancing cultural exchange and mutual understanding.
According to Press Information Department, the event featured performances that showcased the newly acquired French language skills of the diplomats’ spouses, with participants from twenty-three countries engaging in skits, recitation, songs, and film reviews. Madam Asma Ahmad highlighted the significance of these activities in fostering friendships and broadening cultural dialogues. Ambassador Ahmad commended Bienvenue en France for its efforts in integrating foreign diplomats’ families into French society through diverse and engaging programs.
The event also included a ‘potluck lunch’ with traditional dishes from various countries, symbolizing the shared cultures and cooperation among the diplomatic community in Paris.
