Islamabad, November 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan and Russia have agreed to enhance further economic and trade cooperation opportunities between the two countries. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in this regard between Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Russia and the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, today [Thursday]. The Agreement has marked a new step in bilateral relations between the Ural region and Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan and Nikolai Shulginov, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation visited TMK pipe factory at Yekaterinburg on the 2nd day of 7th meeting of Pak-Russia Inter Governmental Commission. Russian side showed its interest to enhance bilateral cooperation in Energy Sector including gas pipelines.
Federal Minister Omar Ayub Khan appreciated the Russia’s technology and skills in manufacturing and installation of huge gas pipelines network across the countries. Minister Omar Ayub Khan expressed that both countries have huge potential of technical cooperation and investments in energy sector.
