Pakistan Prepares for SCO Summit with Emphasis on Coordination and Infrastructure

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is preparing to host the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meetings, with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar affirming the country’s commitment to ensuring the success of the event. In a meeting held in Islamabad, Dar emphasized the importance of coordination among various institutions to ensure that the proceedings are well-organized.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister chaired the meeting focused on the SCO Summit, which Pakistan is set to host next year. During the meeting, the importance of close inter-agency coordination was highlighted to facilitate smooth operations. The Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) provided an update on the progress of development and infrastructure projects related to the summit.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar expressed satisfaction with the preparations and directed all stakeholders to ensure that arrangements are completed on time. The focus remains on maintaining high standards for the event, which will see participation from multiple countries.
