Lahore: Pakistan Police athletes secured a significant haul of medals at the All Pakistan Independence Day Open Gold Cup Men’s & Women’s Canoeing Championship 2026, bringing home 10 medals, including 2 gold, 2 silver, and 6 bronze. According to Punjab Police, the event saw participation from canoeing teams across the country, including the Army and various provincial teams.

IG Punjab Abdul Kareem praised the athletes for their commendable performance, highlighting the honor they bring to the department and the nation through their achievements at both national and international levels. Director General Pakistan Police Sports Board Additional IG Imran Arshad and Chief Sports Officer DIG Athar Ismail Amjad also recognized the efforts of the players, applauding their success in the competition.
