Pakistan and Malaysia Sign Four MoUs to Strengthen Trade Relations


Islamabad: Pakistan and Malaysia have signed four key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to boost trade and business cooperation between the two countries. The agreements were witnessed by Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan during a ceremony in Islamabad.



According to Press Information Department, the MoUs include a Letter of Intent (LOI) between Fauji Meat Limited and Malaysia’s NSK for a profit-sharing partnership in the distribution, wholesale, and retail of meat. Gobi VC Investment Fund also committed $300,000 to Pakistani startup Qistbazar, with plans to raise a $50 million fund to support further investments in the country’s startups. Additionally, SNA Equity announced an initial investment of $5 million in Gamalux Pakistan, with a total investment goal of $15 million by 2026. Pakistan and Malaysia’s Business Councils also signed an MoU aimed at enhancing cooperation in halal trade.



These agreements mark a significant step in strengthening trade relations between Pakistan and Malaysia, fostering collaboration across various sectors.
