Over 961,000 Undocumented Afghans Exit Pakistan Amid Repatriation Efforts

Islamabad: The repatriation of undocumented Afghan nationals from Pakistan continues as the Government enforces its deadline for voluntary departure, resulting in over 961,000 individuals leaving the country. The process includes Afghan citizen card holders, and authorities have reported that more than 7,138 undocumented Afghans were sent back to Afghanistan recently.

The Government of Pakistan is implementing strict legal measures against those failing to comply with the exit orders. The total number of undocumented Afghan nationals who have left has reached 961,704, demonstrating the magnitude of the ongoing repatriation efforts.

Officials have emphasized the Government’s commitment to ensuring an orderly and dignified repatriation process. They assure that no individual will face mistreatment during the evacuation, and provisions have been made for food and healthcare facilities for all returnees.

The situation underscores Pakistan’s focus on addressing the presence of illegal foreign residents within its borders, as the authorities continue to monitor and facilitate the process of repatriation for Afghan nationals.
