Lahore, April 27, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi today visited the residence of the youth Samiullah who died in police firing in Multan, Shah Rukn Alam Colony and Mohalla Dogran, the residence of Muhammad Usman, and expressed his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the parents and families of the deceased youths Samiullah and Muhammad Usman and recited Fateha. Mohsen Naqvi announced financial assistance to both families and government jobs to the brothers of the deceased youths. Punishment will be given.
One accused is arrested, IG Punjab has directed to arrest two other accused within next 72 hours. The accused will be dismissed from their jobs and prosecuted for murder. Mohsin Naqvi directed to provide the best medical facilities to the injured Mohammad Irfan. Mohsin Naqvi assured to provide justice to the bereaved families at any cost and said that the police Officials have committed this sad cruelty, they will be brought to justice.
I can’t bring back your loved ones but the Punjab government will go to the extreme to get you justice. The government of Punjab is an equal participant in your grief. Information Minister Aamir Mir said that it should be ensured that no pressure is put on the families of the deceased youths.
The constable has been arrested and raids are being conducted to arrest other accused. Additional IG South Punjab gave a briefing on the incident. Provincial Ministers Amir Mir, Dr Javed Akram, Commissioner Multan Division, CPO Multan, Deputy Commissioner and DPO were also present. were present on the occasion.
