Karachi, Mohammed Zakaria of Egypt clinched the title at the 16th Chief of the Naval Staff International Squash Championship, with Pakistan’s Nasir Iqbal finishing as the runner-up in a competitive final held at the Pakistan Navy Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex.

According to Inter Services Public Relations, the closing ceremony featured Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf as the chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winners. The championship saw participation from five domestic and nineteen international players from various countries including Egypt, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Czech Republic, Japan, Germany, Great Britain, and the Netherlands.

The event was well attended by a mix of civil and military dignitaries, sponsors, national players, and squash enthusiasts, highlighting the championship’s role in promoting squash in Pakistan and fostering international sportsmanship.
