Islamabad Traffic Police Hosts Road Safety Seminar at Naval Headquarters

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) conducted a road safety awareness seminar at the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad, focusing on the promotion of traffic laws and safe driving practices. The seminar was attended by Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk and a significant number of Naval Police officers, including Chief Staff Officer Commodore Captain Arshad Iqbal.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the event aimed to educate participants on the importance of traffic law adherence and effective road safety measures. Officers from the ITP’s education wing highlighted the need for safe driving practices, lane discipline, and strict adherence to speed limits. They also discussed the prevention of accidents and the importance of responsible behavior on the roads.

Chief Traffic Officer Muhammad Sarfraz Virk addressed the participants, emphasizing the critical role of road safety and traffic law compliance in protecting lives. He called on all citizens, especially those in service positions, to incorporate these practices into their daily routines to cultivate a safer traffic environment.

The education wing officers encouraged attendees to not only follow traffic regulations themselves but also to spread awareness about road safety to reduce traffic-related incidents. At the seminar’s conclusion, honorary shields were exchanged between the Islamabad Traffic Police and the Pakistan Navy, with participants expressing appreciation for the ITP’s road safety campaign and reaffirming their dedication to safe travel and law compliance.
