ISLAMABAD: In a concerted effort to enhance security and combat criminal activities, the Islamabad Police have conducted a series of comprehensive search and combing operations across the federal capital. This initiative, led by Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, has resulted in the thorough examination of more than 277 individuals, as well as numerous households, shops, and vehicles.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were carried out under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza and were closely monitored by respective zonal SPs. The search efforts included the inspection of 142 households, 37 shops, three hotels, 199 motorcycles, and 73 vehicles. In addition to these examinations, four individuals deemed suspicious and 14 motorcycles were taken to the police station for additional verification.
SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza emphasized that these operations are intended to suppress criminal elements and enhance overall security in the city. The police are conducting similar operations in different areas throughout the district as part of their ongoing strategy to tackle crime, including actions against land grabbers and drug dealers.
