Islamabad, In line with the special directives of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police is intensifying security measures in the high security zone of the federal capital. The police force is committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of vital government and private establishments, diplomatic missions, and other key assets in the area.
According to Islamabad Capital Police, personnel at various security checkpoints are rigorously executing their duties, which include meticulously verifying the particulars of individuals entering the high security zone and documenting vehicle information. The zone, which houses important establishments, requires constant vigilance and a heightened security presence.
As part of the enhanced security measures, government personnel are now required to display their departmental identification cards upon entering the zone. Additionally, private individuals conducting business in the area are advised to carry necessary documentation and cooperate fully with the on-duty security personnel. Senior officers have instructed the personnel to maintain the highest standards of diligence and professionalism and to cultivate a positive rapport with citizens. The police also urge citizens to report any suspicious activities or individuals to the “Pukar-15” helpline immediately.
