India to intensify action against Kashmiris affiliated with resistance movement: Report

Srinagar, October 08, 2021 (PPI-OT):India has sent its top counter-militancy experts to Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to aid the local police to eliminate the Kashmiris affiliated with the ongoing resistance movement, Hindustan Times (HT) reported. The HT report said the development comes after Indian Home Minister Amit Shah gave firm and unequivocal directions to counter the killings of civilians and minorities in the Kashmir Valley. Amit Shah held a marathon five-hour meeting on Kashmir on Thursday after the killings.

The report said while asking the Indian agencies to dispatch their counter terrorism (CT) experts to Kashmir, Amit Shah gave firm instructions to bring the perpetrators to book. It said Indian Intelligence Bureau’s head of CT operations Tapan Deka will be in the Valley to personally supervise the actions while CT teams of other Indian agencies have already reached IIOJK to act as force multipliers to the police.
