Lahore, April 27, 2023 (PPI-OT): Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has taken strict notice of the incident of killing of 2 youths by policemen in Multan area and has asked for a report from the Inspector General of Police. Mohsin Naqvi directed that a comprehensive investigation of the tragic incident should be conducted and the responsible should be determined and legal and departmental action should be taken against the policemen who opened fire.
The caretaker chief minister further directed that justice should be ensured to the families of the deceased youth. He said that there is no justification for firing on the youth by the police personnel. I assure the families of the youth that justice will be done at any cost. I have heartfelt sympathy with the families of the deceased youth and express my condolences to them.
