IGP Islamabad Holds Open Court to Address Public Grievances

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted an open court at the Central Police Office in Islamabad, focusing on addressing public grievances through an open-door policy. The session aimed to facilitate direct communication between the public and police officials.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the IGP engaged with both citizens and police officers to hear their concerns, issuing immediate directives to relevant officers for resolution. Emphasizing a commitment to merit-based and timely solutions, Rizvi encouraged citizens with police-related issues to attend the open court sessions, assuring them that his office remains accessible.

In response to complaints, the IGP instructed officers to resolve issues within a specified timeframe and submit reports to the Central Police Office. He also directed Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) to maintain designated office hours for public interaction and ensure prompt resolution of issues.

The IGP highlighted that the Islamabad Police are implementing several measures to assist citizens, with daily open courts serving as a platform for prioritizing the resolution of public grievances.
