Islamabad: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi presided over a meeting to review recruitment processes and improve public facilitation measures. The meeting, attended by senior police officers including DIG Headquarters Muhammad Jawad Tariq and DIG Law & Order Muhammad Atiq Tahir, focused on providing citizens with more effective and prompt police services.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting assessed current and future recruitment plans, manpower needs, and operational capacity improvements. Senior officers provided updates on initiatives within their departments aimed at enhancing service delivery and communication with the public.

Proposals discussed included improving police service delivery, enhancing public facilitation, and strengthening communication between police and citizens. IGP Rizvi emphasized aligning police services with modern standards and public expectations to ensure prompt and quality services without negligence.

IGP Rizvi directed officers to focus on enhancing police capacity through modern systems and transparent practices. He highlighted the importance of strengthening public trust and ensuring timely completion of initiatives. The use of modern technology and available resources was stressed to resolve public issues promptly and improve access to police services.

He reiterated the commitment to accelerating reforms and initiatives to transform Islamabad Police into a modern, transparent, and citizen-friendly institution.
