Hajj Fee Collection for 2024 Proceeds Smoothly Through Digital Portal

ISLAMABAD: The submission of the first installment for the 2024 Hajj fee is proceeding without disruption through the Hajj Digital Portal, showcasing a significant advancement in the digitization of the pilgrimage process.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry of Religious Affairs reported that thirty-one billion rupees have already been collected, with over fifty thousand applications submitted within just twenty-four hours. This development marks a milestone in facilitating online payments from all regions, including the four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Islamabad.

In an effort to streamline the payment process for pilgrims, three methods have been introduced via the National IT Board’s Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal. These include payments through OneLink PSID, bank cards, and manual bank challans. The seamless integration of digital payment options aims to enhance convenience and accessibility for those preparing for the annual pilgrimage.
