Karachi, A special reception and dinner were hosted at the Governor’s House on behalf of Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri in honor of the distinguished scholar Prof. Dr. Ahmad Rafiq Akhtar. The event was marked by the participation of notable political and social personalities, including the scholar himself, who delivered a poignant address to the attendees.

According to Sindh Governor House, the event also featured a visit to the IT marquee, illustrating the governor’s initiative to provide free IT education. Governor Tesuri emphasized the success of this initiative, noting that fifty thousand children are currently receiving free education through IT courses at the Governor’s House, with an additional 450,000 benefiting from the courses online.

Prof. Dr. Akhtar, in his address, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and discussed the alignment of modern science with teachings found in the Holy Quran. He also touched upon the societal benefits of establishing charity banks to combat the usury system in the country.
