Srinagar, August 21, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Working Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar, has expressed serious concern over the unabated killing spree unleashed by Indian troops across the territory.

Ghulam Ahmad Gulzar in statement issued in Srinagar said the stubbornness of Indian fascist regime has endangered the global peace with a nuclear collusion in the wake of new geopolitical situation in South Asia. He strongly condemned the use of brute force against the civil population of the occupied territory and said Kashmir is not a land dispute which can be grabbed through military action.

The APHC leader terming the Kashmir dispute a political and human problem said the freedom loving people of Kashmir have rendered unparalleled sacrifices for the sacred mission of freedom from Indian subjugation since 1947. Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar stressed for the early resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions. He made it clear that the Kashmiris’ resistance struggle is a legitimate movement aimed at getting rid of India’s illegal and forcible occupation through a peaceful and democratic formula of right to self-determination.

The APHC leader urged the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, to impress upon India to shun military arrogance and fulfill its commitment and moral obligations, stop genocide and human rights abuses in IIOJK. He said in view of the changed international political situation, resolution of the Kashmir dispute has become a must for global peace and prosperity. He added that India must allow a free and fair plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir to enable the Kashmiris to decide their political future as per the UN Security Council resolutions.
