Islamabad, September 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK chapter Convener, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, has said that the G20 nations’ quest to create a more equitable and safer world is linked to the resolution of the long-running Kashmir dispute in line with the UN Security Council resolution.

Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in a letter to the G20 states’ heads said, “The G-20 nations which have a glorious track-record on human rights can play a significant role in forging a united stance supporting the cause of Kashmir and protecting the hapless Kashmiris from indiscriminate and excessive use of force against them.”

He urged the G20 countries to use their wisdom and collective influence to push New Delhi to respect the political and democratic rights of the people of Kashmir and hold the much delayed referendum to allow Kashmiris to determine their destiny peacefully in accordance with their wishes and aspirations.
