New Delhi, July 14, 2021 (PPI-OT):As India is notorious for being a ‘rapistan’ country, in view of increasing cases of rape and gang-rape, in a latest case a woman was confined in Haryana for over a week and raped by four men. The culprits are yet to be arrested, police said.
As per the report, the woman was freed after nine days of confinement, following which she informed her family members about the incident. She then approached the police July and registered a First Information Report (FIR).
The woman, in her complaint, mentioned that a man named Chintu of her village asked her to meet him on 30 June near a temple in Ballabhgarh village of Faridabad. As she reached the spot Chintu was there, then another man Sanju reached there in his car and the duo took her to Faridabad, read the report.
“During this I asked for water from them. They offered me water laced with some intoxicating substance. After consuming this I fell unconscious and when I came back to my senses I found myself confined in a room,” the woman told the police.
She added: “In the night two men named Kuldeep and Deepak came into the room. Later all the accused raped her in turn at gunpoint and also injected and gave her suspicious pills for nine days.”
As per the report, the accused have recorded an objectionable video and threatened her with dire consequences if she disclosed the matter to anyone. “They also forced me to make fake calls to my house to tell them that I am well,” she told the police.
During the confinement, as per the report, the four men raped her every day and dropped her at Ballabhgarh bus stand on 8 July. She then called her family and approached the police two days later.
