Islamabad: In a statement issued on August 23, 2026, First Lady Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari MNA expressed her concern and sorrow regarding the brutal murder of Hina Javed in Rawalpindi. She extended her condolences to Javed’s family and emphasized the need for justice.
According to Press Information Department, the First Lady called on the Government of Punjab to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the crime. She stressed the importance of holding those responsible accountable to deter similar incidents.
The First Lady also highlighted the increase in such incidents across Pakistan, expressing hope for effective measures to protect women and prevent future crimes of this nature.
