Islamabad, August 16, 2023 (PPI-OT): The First Lady Samina Alvi has lauded the role of radio for creating awareness amongst the masses about causes, symptoms and cure of cancer.
She was addressing a dialogue titled “Interactive Dialogue on Breast Cancer, Disabilities and Mental health issues at Muzaffarabad Medical College on Wednesday.
Samina Alvi said that a radio program of 5 to 10 minutes’ duration will be very effective in creating mass awareness about cancer.
She lauded the role of WHO in augmenting every government effort in the health sector.
