Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Visits Kurram, Reaffirms Commitment to Peace and Security

Kurram: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces, visited Kurram to observe Eid-ul-Fitr with troops and officers. During the visit, he participated in Eid prayers and prayed for Pakistan’s stability and prosperity.

According to Radio Pakistan, while interacting with troops and officers, Field Marshal Munir extended Eid greetings and praised their dedication and professionalism in safeguarding the nation. He acknowledged their achievements during Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, a mission focused on dismantling terrorist networks and ensuring peace in border regions. The Field Marshal emphasized that terrorists from sanctuaries in Afghanistan would not be allowed to compromise Pakistan’s security.

Field Marshal Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, asserting that Afghan soil should not be used for hostile activities against Pakistan. He credited the operational successes to the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs and the resolve of officers and soldiers dedicated to national security. Field Marshal Munir expressed pride in the troops’ steadfastness and reaffirmed the Armed Forces’ commitment to defending Pakistan’s sovereignty.
