Field Marshal Asim Munir Highlights Unity and Development in Balochistan


Quetta: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, engaged with prominent figures and political leaders in Balochistan, emphasizing the intertwined future of the province and Pakistan. He underscored the importance of a clear national narrative and lasting peace to unlock Balochistan’s economic potential.



According to Inter Services Public Relations, Field Marshal Munir noted the talent and promise among Balochistan’s youth, highlighting the critical role of empowering them for sustainable development. He identified foreign-sponsored proxies, referred to as Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan, as threats to the region’s stability and development, stressing the need for a collective national resolve to counter these challenges.



Field Marshal Munir praised Balochistan’s leaders for their efforts in promoting peace and social cohesion and called for efforts to counter hostile propaganda. He affirmed that the province’s destiny lies with its people. Participants of the interaction expressed their commitment to Balochistan’s peace and prosperity, pledging support to the state and armed forces against external threats.
