Farooq Abdullah Demands Inquiry into Allegations Before Article 370 Revocation

Jammu, In a significant political move, National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has urged the Indian government to form a Commission of Inquiry (CoI) to thoroughly investigate claims of mismanagement in occupied Jammu and Kashmir prior to the revocation of Article 370.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during a media interaction in Jammu, Abdullah highlighted the importance of an unbiased investigation into the allegations made against regional political parties. These parties are accused of leading the region into a state of underdevelopment and disorder before the controversial removal of Article 370.

Abdullah’s call for a CoI reflects his commitment to transparency and accountability, pressing for the public disclosure of the commission’s findings to clear up any misconceptions about the governance of Jammu and Kashmir before the constitutional change.
