Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired an inter-ministerial meeting on Tuesday to assess preparations for the upcoming third session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC). The meeting was held to finalize the agenda ahead of discussions that Dar will co-chair with his Bahraini counterpart.
According to Press Information Department, the Secretary of the Economic Affairs Division provided a briefing to Dar, highlighting key areas of bilateral cooperation slated for discussion during the session. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the significance of the JMC in enhancing cooperation between Pakistan and Bahrain. He directed involved ministries to complete their preparations in close collaboration and work towards achieving tangible outcomes from the visit of the Bahraini Foreign Minister scheduled for next week.
The meeting saw participation from SAPM Tariq Bajwa, the Acting Foreign Secretary, and senior officials from various relevant ministries and departments, who convened to ensure comprehensive coordination for the forthcoming joint commission session.
