Deputy PM Calls for Elevating Pak-China Ties Through Collaboration


Islamabad, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar underscored the importance of further elevating Pakistan-China ties through close collaboration.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, he was talking to the Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, Liu Jianchao, in Beijing. Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s firm support for China on core issues. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed condolences over the Shangla attack and assured efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice. He highlighted measures taken by Pakistan to ensure enhanced security for Chinese projects, personnel, and institutions in Pakistan.



The Minister IDCPC reaffirmed China’s support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and high-quality socio-economic development. The two leaders emphasized the importance of the All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership between Pakistan and China and expressed determination to accelerate progress on all CPEC projects, including the ML-I upgradation, Gwadar Port, and KKH realignment.
