Delegation from Multan Bar Meets Chief Justice of FCCP to Discuss Legal Challenges and Opportunities


Islamabad: A thirteen-member delegation from the Multan Bar Association met with the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan, at the Court premises. The meeting centered on the challenges faced by the legal community in the region and explored opportunities for professional growth and institutional development.



According to Press Information Department, the discussion was held in a cordial atmosphere, emphasizing the shared commitment to strengthening the legal profession and enhancing access to justice. The Secretary of the Multan Bar Association highlighted the Bar’s efficient case management, reporting that nearly 10,000 out of approximately 40,000 pending cases have been disposed of.



Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan commended the Multan Bar Association’s efforts and acknowledged the legal fraternity’s role in supporting judicial efficiency and constitutional governance. He shared updates on the Federal Constitutional Court’s progress in digitalization and institutional efficiency, aimed at expediting case disposal. The delegation invited the Chief Justice to visit the Multan Bar Association, which he graciously accepted.



In a gesture of cultural goodwill, the delegation presented traditional Ajrak and a Multani topi to the Chief Justice. The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to collaborate for the enhancement of the legal fraternity and justice system in Pakistan.
