Azad Kashmir Receives 23 Billion Rupee Aid Package from Pakistan Government


Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir’s government has officially acknowledged and expressed gratitude for a significant financial aid package provided by Pakistan’s federal government and military leadership. The 23 billion rupee package, aimed at subsidizing electricity and flour, marks a substantial effort to alleviate economic challenges faced by the residents of Azad Kashmir.



According to Press Information Department – Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Finance Minister Abdul Majid Khan highlighted the importance of the aid, noting it as a historic move to support the Kashmiri populace during tough economic times. Minister Khan emphasized the deep ties between Kashmir and Pakistan, appreciating the consistent support from the Pakistani government and military in times of natural disasters and financial hardships. This gesture underscores Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to the welfare of Azad Kashmir, reinforcing the strong bonds between the two regions.
