AJK Prime Minister Accuses India of Exceeding ‘Limits of State Terrorism’ in Kashmir

Muzaffarabad: Chaudhry Anwar Haq, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, has accused India of surpassing all bounds of state terrorism in Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, alleging efforts to suppress the Kashmiris’ aspirations for freedom.

According to Kashmir Media Service, during meetings with Lord Mayor of Manchester Yasmin Dar, Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent Majid Khan, and other dignitaries, Haq detailed the conditions in the region. He criticized the elections held in the territory as a sham and inadequate substitutes for a referendum on self-determination for the Kashmiri people.

The AJK Prime Minister called on the international community to support the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and encouraged Kashmiris residing in the UK to vocalize their plight internationally to halt Indian brutality and push for a resolution to the Kashmir conflict.

Haq emphasized that the Kashmir issue has reached a critical juncture, placing a responsibility on Kashmiris abroad, especially those in the UK, to expose Indian atrocities at global forums.

The meeting also included Senior Minister Waqar Ahmed Noor and other government officials who discussed the ongoing situation and strategies to address the conflict.
