AIG Investigations Holds Open Court to Address Public Grievances in Islamabad


Islamabad: The Islamabad Police held an open court session, led by Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Investigations/Complaints Syed Inayat Ali Shah, to address public grievances and issues of police officers. Shah emphasized the police’s commitment to resolving public concerns efficiently and highlighted a zero-tolerance stance on corruption within the force.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the open court was held at the Central Police Office in Islamabad. During the session, AIG Shah listened to complaints from citizens and ensured that their applications were forwarded to relevant officers for prompt action. He mandated that reports be sent back to his office within specified time frames. Shah reiterated that any officers found engaging in bribery or corruption would face strict action.



The AIG assured that the Islamabad Police would persist in their efforts to secure citizens’ lives and property, and such interactive sessions would continue to offer relief to the public. He emphasized that open court interactions would advance friendly policing, self-accountability, and swift problem resolution. The protection of citizens’ life, property, and dignity remains a top priority, he stated.
