Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, has raised concerns over the governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, citing corruption and mismanagement as prevailing issues. Tarar accused the provincial government of utilizing public funds for political purposes, highlighting extravagant expenditures as a key concern.
According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar expressed his views in a social media post on X, where he criticized the expansion of the provincial cabinet. He argued that the increase in cabinet size lacks specific criteria for the selection of ministers and advisers, other than incompetence. Tarar questioned whether this expansion would lead to improvements in governance, which he claims has been stagnant for the past twelve years. He further noted that the province’s issues have never been in a worse state.
