Lahore, August 17, 2023 (PPI-OT): A delegation led by Ms. Jingmin Huang, Director of Water and Urban Development Sector of Asian Development Bank, met with caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi today in the Chief Minister’s office, in which the delegation met with the support of Asian Development Bank in Punjab. Progress on ongoing projects was discussed and it was agreed to further promote cooperation in the fields of agriculture, farm-to-market roads, water resource management and urban development – Mohsen Naqvi, ADB’s Director of Water and Urban Development Sector.

Talking to said that the Asian Development Bank is the best partner of the Punjab government in the journey of development and prosperity – the timely completion of the ongoing projects in Punjab with the support of the Asian Development Bank is our priority – AD in agriculture, water management and urban development sectors. Looking for more cooperation from B – There is a program to expand the scope of Green Project to the whole of Punjab with the support of ADB – Thankful to ADB for the program of improving urban amenities in cities – Director Asian Development Bank Jangman Huang said. That caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his team have worked tirelessly in advancing the program of ADB and under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, the Punjab government has advanced ADB projects rapidly, he said.

That will increase cooperation with the Punjab government in various fields – ADB’s urban development officials Xi Jiayi Liu (Mr. Xijie (CJ) Lu), Head of Pakistan Resident Mission Urban Unit Shaukat Shafi, Senior Project Officer Syed Umar Ali Shah and Provincial Project Coordinator of the Bank Imran Sikandar Baloch were present while Provincial Minister of Local Government and Information Aamir Mir, Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development Board, Secretary Local Government, Secretary Housing and related officials were also present on this occasion.
