IGP Islamabad Reviews Security Arrangements in Red Zone Amid Budget Session


Islamabad: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi conducted a visit to the Red Zone on Tuesday to assess security arrangements in light of the ongoing budget session. He spent the day in the field, accompanied by senior police officers, inspecting security measures and personnel deployment at key locations.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, IGP Rizvi met with officers and officials on security duty, acknowledged their professionalism and dedication, and issued specific directives for bolstering security measures. He emphasized the need for heightened and effective security in the Red Zone and its surrounding areas.



In preparation for the budget session, the Islamabad Police have intensified surveillance at all entry and exit points of the Red Zone, increased personnel deployment, enhanced checking protocols, and implemented advanced security strategies. Measures have also been taken to ensure the safety of citizens and maintain smooth traffic flow, with continuous monitoring of sensitive areas.



IGP Rizvi reiterated that the primary focus of the Islamabad Police is to ensure the security of the federal capital and safeguard the lives and property of its citizens. He emphasized the police force’s commitment to maintaining law and order and providing a secure environment, utilizing all available resources to improve the city’s security infrastructure.



He assured that all necessary actions will persist uninterrupted to protect citizens and maintain peace and stability within the federal capital.
