ISLAMABAD: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani emphasized the necessity of women’s equal participation in fostering the economic potential of Pakistan. Addressing the Pakistan Women Leadership and Policy Summit 2026 in Islamabad, Gilani outlined the pivotal role of women empowerment in national development.
According to Radio Pakistan, Gilani called on stakeholders to promote a practical agenda that includes access to finance, digital inclusion, support for women-led enterprises, safe workplaces, and leadership development. He also highlighted the importance of mentorship and stronger market linkages in advancing women’s roles in the economy.
