Islamabad, Turkish investors have signaled a significant interest in investing across various sectors in Pakistan, including mining, equipment manufacturing, paper products, pharmaceuticals, and special economic zones. This interest was conveyed by Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Mehmet Pacaci, during his meeting with the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Investment, Tahir Javed, in Islamabad.
According to News Release by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Pacaci emphasized Turkiye’s enthusiasm for collaborative ventures in multiple investment sectors, underscoring Pakistan’s immense potential in these domains. He highlighted the eagerness of 46 Turkish contracting firms to engage in investments in Pakistan, particularly expressing intent to augment their participation in infrastructure projects. Responding positively, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of inviting fresh investments in the form of new enterprises from Turkiye.
