Islamabad, July 06, 2023 (PPI-OT): The delegations of Rawalpindi, Gujjar Khan and Lahore Bar Council met with Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf, Islamabad, July 6, 2023; He said that the lawyer’s community has always played an important role for the supremacy of the Parliament and the Constitution, the rule of law and the strengthening of democracy and the promotion of democratic values in the country. He expressed these views in Rawalpindi on Thursday., while talking to the delegations of Gujjar Khan and Lahore Bar Council at the Parliament House.
The Speaker said that the Parliament is the educational institution of 22 crore people and it is necessary for all of us to respect it. He said that the current National Assembly has passed record legislation during the last one year and has discussed important issues of public importance. He further said that the role of Parliament is of key importance to overcome the challenges facing the country. He said that the problems facing the country can be solved through effective legislation. He said that the current alliance The government has taken over the running of the country in difficult times and has played a role in getting the country out of the challenges it is facing despite the difficulties. He said that the young generation of Pakistan is very hardworking and talented and has full potential to get the country out of the challenges it is facing.
