Mandsaur: Communal tension flared up in Madhya Pradesh after a group of Hindutva activists reportedly pelted stones at a procession celebrating Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi. The incident, which took place near the Nehru Bus Stand in Mandsaur, resulted in injuries among some of the participants.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the stone pelting and subsequent attacks were carried out by Hindu extremist groups, leading to chaos and fear among the attendees of the religious procession. Local authorities were quick to respond, with Superintendent of Police Abhishek Anand confirming that additional police forces were brought in from the neighboring Ratlam district to help restore peace and maintain public order in the area.
The intervention of law enforcement aimed to prevent the escalation of violence and ensure the safety of all citizens. Community leaders and local officials are calling for calm and dialogue to address the underlying tensions that led to this violent outbreak.
